Michelle graduated with BSc (hons) from Coventry University in 2000. She has worked within the NHS and continues to do so since.

She took the specialist neuro-physiotherapist route from 2006, working at the National Spinal Injury Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. She then moved to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London from 2007. Here she has completed numerous rotations as a highly Specialist Physiotherapist in, both the neurological rehabilitation units, the multiple sclerosis and Spasticity service (which included Botulinum toxin clinics and baclofen pump assessments and implants) the medical wards, and intensive care.

She is now a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Multiple Sclerosis. As a result, Michelle has been fortunate to work with some very influential health professionals in their fields and had access to various internal and external courses.

Michelle has worked for Neuro-physio Berkhamsted (NPB) since 2016 alongside her NHS role. She is an active member of ACPIN, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology, and is a member of the 'therapists interested in MS' (TiMS) working party.
