Lucy graduated from Oxford Brooke’s university with a first class BSc Hons in Physiotherapy in 2011.

Lucy was offered her first post-graduation role at a private rehabilitation centre where she had spent time as a student. Here, her caseload included patients with complex neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke and Parkinson’s. She gained a vast array of knowledge in 24 hour postural management, Botox administration, wheelchair assessments and splinting.

Following this, Lucy completed all her rotations within an acute hospital setting at Buckinghamshire Healthcare trust alongside working as a senior Physiotherapist at the Chilterns MS Centre before joining the NPB team. Lucy has completed many post-graduate courses including the Bobath concept, key advances in Stroke rehab, spasticity management, optimising gait, balance and physical activity in long term neurological conditions, ataxia management and Pilates.

Lucy works closely with her clients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals, to provide an evidence-based, holistic treatment approach in order to achieve maximum functional results and improve her patients' symptoms and quality of life.

Lucy lives in Harpenden with her husband, son and little dog! She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising and looking after animals.
