Claire Goodchild
Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) MCSP, HCPC registered
Claire qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1998. She worked at Hull Royal Infirmary completing general Physiotherapy rotations before specialising in Neurology as a Locum physiotherapist and travelling to and working in Sydney, Australia in 2001.

Claire returned to the UK and worked for several years as a Senior Neuro Physiotherapist at the Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust in both acute Neurology (including Stroke) and Neurorehabilitation at the Oxford Centre for Enablement.

After moving to London in 2003 Claire took a Senior Neuro Physiotherapist position at Kings College Hospital and worked for 5 years on specialist Neuromedical diagnostics wards, NeuroSurgery, Neurological Rehabilitation Units, Stroke unit and Neuro-Community.
She then went on to lead the Neurosurgery Physiotherapy team at Imperial College Hospital NHS Trust (Charing Cross) and then returned to work on the Stroke unit part time after the birth of her first daughter in 2009.

Most recently Claire has worked with the Community Neuro Rehab Service in Buckinghamshire providing rehabilitation in the community for a wide variety of Neurological conditions.

Claire has worked through all areas of Neurology and has extensive experience in all aspects of Neuro rehabilitation. She is an active member of Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology and has attended numerous courses including Bobath, Acute Brain Injury, Splinting, Spinal and gait and balance.
Claire is married with 2 daughters, enjoys circuit training, tennis and sewing.
