Amy graduated from University of Leeds with a BSc (hons) in Sports and Exercise Science in 2023 having completed a year placement as a Neurorehabilitation Assistant in Hemel Hempstead delivering Activity Based Rehabilitation to individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Upon graduating Amy moved to Hertfordshire and worked as a service coordinator for the charity Back Up, providing support for children and young people living with a spinal cord injury before working as a Neurorehabilitation Assistant in Danesbury Neurological Centre in Welwyn supporting the rehabilitation of individuals recovering from strokes, FND, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
In January 2025 Amy started studying a Masters in Physiotherapy at University of Hertfordshire. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and she will be working at NPB alongside her studies to continue to develop my knowledge and interest in Neurology, with the aim of improving individuals living with neurological condition’s quality of life and helping them achieve their goals.
When she is not working or studying, Amy enjoys playing netball and running
